EN 1.4305, AISI 303 is an austenitic alloy containing sulfur. This alloy is very suitable for machining and is often used for bolts, screws, gears and other machined parts. The sulfur in EN 1.4305, AISI 303 causes this alloy to be slightly less corrosion resistant than EN 1.4301, AISI 304 and 1.4307, AISI 304L.
